Reasons Why You Should Not Park Directly at the Airport

Your parking options include parking at the airport or at a facility near the airport.  The case is made here to not park directly at the airport.

Often a parking spot is not available and you have to drive around for while to find a space.  This means that you have to start out much earlier. You can also be slowed down during holidays and rush hours.  Arriving and departing cars during this time can cause delay.  Another cause for delay is the security measures that have been instituted at the airports since 9/11.

Parking near the airport is almost always much more expensive than offsite parking.  Sometimes you need valet service because you do not have the time to find parking, but this is not a free service.
